This concept draws inspiration from fundamental design principles and tools—such as grids, shapes, text boxes, selection tools, gradients, and textures—to engage visitors, particularly graphic designers. The color palette is based on the University of Houston’s official colors, complemented by accent tones that reflect the identity of the UH Graphic Design program. Gradients are used to create contrast and visual interest against flat 2D shapes. A modular grid ensures a clean, structured layout that maintains legibility without overwhelming the viewer. Bold, sans-serif typography enhances visibility and draws attention from a distance.
